Tuesday 6th January 09 My Birthday !!! (High 84F)
Woohoo !! Its my birthday, Im going to party like its my birthday !!
We were all up around 6.30am as it was EMH at Epcot this morning (8-9am). I was ready at 7.15am, and the girls came round from next door and I opened all my cards and presents
I had cards from Sandy and Kaylee, and presents from my friends Lynne
($15), Janette ($25), & Nat (brown bag ornament & chocs from New York), my mum & dad (dosh), Kerry, Becky & Bex (a Stitch Happy Birthday toy and Mickey & Minnie statue) and Paul (a Mickey towel, MM head earrings, a MM jewellery box, MM NY t-shirt, another MM t-shirt, MM PJs and MM gloves do you see a theme going on here ? 
) ~ I did really well
After opening my pressies, we headed to Epcot. I wore my birthday pin and I brought my Birthday Stitch along with me. First we got fastpasses for Soarin, then dashed over to Test Track where it was very quiet. After TT, everyone rode Mission:Space (Bexs first time, which went OK, but like me, shes not fond of spinny rides) and I waited at Mission Control, as Im not keen on the more intense side
We then rode Nemo & Friends and finished off with Soarin before leaving the park for The Polynesian
We had an ADR for 10.20am, and we just arrived in time. We were given leis and had our photo taken, which I later bought. Within minutes we were seated at our table and almost immediately the characters came round. First we saw Lilo, and then Stitch came over. He loved playing around with my Stitch toy, and that the girls were all wearing Stitch ears (thanks again Emma for getting that pair for Bex). Next we saw Mickey Mouse, but somehow we missed Pluto
Next the food arrived. We had breads, fruit and a couple of platters of sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, potato wedges and Mickey waffles ~ it was all very nice
After breakfast the girls stopped off at the monorail resorts to have a look round the arcades there (they werent impressed LOL), so Paul & I went to the Magic Kingdom to one of the Will Call windows outside the park to pick up my Birthday Gift Card
I showed them my passport, and I had to show my park ticket, and then I was given a $75 gift card to be used that day (yay !)
We met the girls back at The Poly, and we went back to The Pop to chill by the pool (it was a beautiful day today)
Later in the afternoon, Paul & I popped back to Epcot, as I had seen a t-shirt that I wanted, so I used my giftcard. I also bought (or should I say Disney bought) a Happy Birthday photo frame (which I put my Ohana photo in), and some bits and bobs for my car. That afternoon we rode SpaceShip Earth, then we had a glass of wine in Norway followed by orange chicken and eggrolls in China
After dinner, we caught the monorail back to The Poly as tonight was Lapu Lapu Night. Over the next few hours we had 4 Lapu Lapus each and we felt very tipsy (they are pretty strong)
It was a shame that Jules & Ian werent there, Im sure they wouldve had fun tonight ~ we certainly had a great time
We left around 10pm and got the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom. MK had closed at 8pm and the place was deserted, the place looked so weird empty. There was hardly anyone around, and when we got near the buses, a CM asked us where we were going, and he told us to get on a bus and told the driver where to take us (we were the only ones onboard)
When we got back to the Pop, we stopped by the food court where we had a Mai Tai and I had a cheesecake (my birthday cake 
)
I really had a fab day, I love celebrating my birthday in WDW
