We are going on a family vacation to DLR in just a month! We are staying at the GC, thanks to the 5 for 3 deal (and a lot of begging and pleading to DH! :lmao:).

I would love to send my mother down to the Mandara Spa for a massage, as a treat. She usually needs a break from the rest of us at some point, so I thought this would be the perfect way to give her that break.

So my questions are... How far in advance will she need to make an appointment? It would be great if she could just decide the day she needs the break, based on how crazy we are driving her!

And finally, can she charge the costs to the room? That would be a lot easier than me having to buy a gift certificate in advance.

Thanks for your help!

My DGF did this 2 years ago. Had a same day appt and charged it to the room. Not sure if anything has changed but will know in August.

She can charge it to the room, yes!! I hope she loves it!!

I don't know how busy it is in the summertime...I've called for treatments 2 weeks ahead of time and could get the treatments, but not the exact times I wanted. It was a holiday weekend, so maybe that made a difference.

She will love it!

I treated myself to an hour massage mid-way through our trip and LOVED IT!! I scheduled a couple of months ahead of time, so I'm not sure how available same-day appointments are.

One word of caution - They accidentally booked me on the wrong day and charged my credit card the day before I got there. I've talked to other people who had the same experience. If you reserve, you may want to call and confirm about a week before.
