Have you had any experience of the new airport car parking at Manchester? I caught this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcUbF8wLEAM and was tempted. I like the idea of hassle-free travelling, and the the thought that my credit/debit card that I used to book my flight online with, can open the gates at the airport car park seems nicely simple! Anyone had any experience of the system yet?

We haven't used a car park for a few years now, for 2 weeks plus we take a taxi (£90 return) for under 2 weeks it almost always works out as cheap to do meet & greet.

Yep, I can see a taxi has advantages... and pre-booking can be cheaper. But sometimes, only the family jalopy will do! Lol!

You will probablyalso find these vouchers available at the airport itself. They are usually included in a booklet you can pick up around the terminals called 'Value Added Travel'. Unfortunately I only found this out for the first time after using half od my printer ink printing out two copies of pretty much every voucher I might conceivably use.

Any idea where to find it? I fly from Manchester upto 4 times a year, never seen it.

They're normally in blue metal newspaper-style distribution boxes, they seem to be dotted around randomly next to walls, they're about A5 size booklets with the 'Value Added Travel' logo on, which is in a yellow price sticker-style shape. I've found them in all three terminals, you just need to keep your eyes peeled.
