Yes we watched them eat today. We always visit the exhibit. Love them and the research being done is hopefully beneficial.

As of August last year, yes! We happened to see them at feeding time. They were quite excited to have some lettuce.

Thank you guys! We were going to skip Epcot this year as we are only doing a short 3 day 4 night trip Dec 20-24 but my 9 year old son loves manatees and I didn't even know they were there until I googled places to take him to see him but there wasn't anything dated after 2014.

I wasn't going to respond since I don't want to be one of those "this is how you should raise your kids" people but I'm going to anyway What you might consider is doing the entire Living Seas pavilion so your son can see how all things in the water live. The manatees are at the end in the walking around part so you can enter through the exit and just see those but it might make a more lasting impression with the entire attraction. Just a thought.

I was surprised at how graceful they were under water. One of them kept doing spiral dives - very cool.

Lol ! I am sure if we go to the trouble of going to Epcot that we will do the whole attraction. What is funny about Epcot is myself and my hubby are perfectly happy to skip this park in favor of more time in MK and my kids are like well we have to go to Epcot for this etc!
