Did anyone see the Comp USA ad in Sundays paper for the $199. Computer sans monitor but with XP?

It was a great deal!

So I jumped in my car and ran down there as fast as I could. I got there really early but went elsewhere. I came back and was 2nd in line. I figured great they have 10 per store Im IN!

While I was 2nd line these 5 BIG men bullyed their way in as soon as the doors opened and KNOCKED us down!! Can you believe that???

I was SO angry! I told the manager that they really needed to insitute a voucher system where the people who were first in line got the computers end of story.

On the upside I managed to get one more from the back, the manager said " Thats #11, you wont get the rebates but you can buy it for full price" ( that was $400.+ ) He said the computer automatically prints out 10 rebates and then it wouldnt print out any more.

My revenge came when I saw 2 of the bullys sitting in the back gloating about getting the computer, I went to the front and guess what? I got the rebates!

There is justice in the world after all

Did you see how Target had a HP printer, scanner and copier for $88. I went to the store when they opened and they only had 4. Some guy grabbed 2 and 2 other boys grabbed one.

4 Grrrr. I didn't get one, but more should be coming in Tuesday, but they don't know what time.

Why don't these stores that have these fanatastic sales, stock up on the items. It is ridiculous.

Isn't there a law about luring people into stores for a great sale, then not having the item, but relying on them to wonder around the store and maybe purchase other things?

I gave it to the kids and dumped all of their games off MY computer!!


Now I have 77% free space LOL

OhMari-The same printer is sold at Sam's Club (if you have one and are a member) for 79.99, so it was around 85 bucks with tax...a great deal! (it's the same model number)

I'm so glad you got the rebate! You should have hung around to see the bully's face when he didn't get one! I can hold my ground pretty good on Black Friday btw!
