Man vs Food

Has anyone been watching this on the Good Food channel?

We saw it for the first time when we were over in Florida and were pleased to see it on over here. The idea is a man (Adam) who goes around America taking on the food challenges that a lot of the restaurants over there have (you know the sort - eat a burger the size of a bar stool in less than an hour and get a t-shirt) but along the way you get to see some of the most amazing eating places and food.
This place was on the other day and I would love the chance to eat there one day.

Yes, Kenny, we have been watching this. Haven't seen last night's yet but loved the first three. That Sasquatch burger was phenomenal - there was no way I could have eaten even a quarter of it

I agree, the Salt Lick BBQ looked great - the brisket looked so delicious, my mouth was watering just watching. I really loved the look of Gus's Fried Chicken too

I agree, the Salt Lick BBQ looked great - the brisket looked so delicious, my mouth was watering just watching.

I recorded it on Sky+ and have played it about 3 times since. The platter he had at the end would do me.

You're right - it wouldn't be. And as it is on every day at the moment you wouldn't even be able to use the excuse 'The diet starts tomorrow'
Talking about diets I think I need to start mine soon. A mate asked last night if I would be the best man at his wedding - a first for me - and he was telling me what we have to wear. To do it justice I think I need to lose a pound or 2

It looks like one of the most amazing places. I thought the skillet at Whispering Canyon was good but Salt Lick is on a different level.

Whispering Canyon is to Salt Lick like McDonald's is to Victoria & Albert's (... in the BBQ world anyway).

At any rate, it is the best BBQ around - honestly. I'll bring the beer (because you have to bring your own in since they don't have a liquor license)!

Me and the bairns love this show, downloaded them all last year after a friends recommendation, and then downloaded them each week. I never managed to catch the live Superbowl special though, as no-one seemed to have captured it and posted it.....but apararantly it was a bit rubbish anyway.....I will have to keep an eye out for it on the UK channel, though they dont appear to be showing them in a strict order, so that might be difficult.
Theres a new show on the same channel out called Food Wars, which seems to be something to fill the gap between season 2 and season 3...its not as good though.

Salt Lick = Best BBQ ever!

The brisket is to die for! It's a little bit of a drive from where I live in Austin but it is so worth it even the drive back when I can barely keep my eyes open from the BBQ overdose.

I love watching that episode of Man vs Food because it makes me crave it every time.
