Quickest way to blow a couple bills...

go skiing on a holiday week!

DD's and I are going to Okemo Friday, I just checked on line to see what its gonna run me and holy moly...looks like it'll be close to $200

I've never paid to ski at Okemo before, because of our school ski program, I always have skied for free...the only restrictions are holidays..well from the 26th to the 2nd is a holiday!...ouch.

Oh well, it's worth it in the end..

It's amazing how expensive skiing has become. I just paid $300 to our town recreation dept for lift tix and bus to Nashoba for 6 Saturday nights for my 2 boys. At least I know they will be going that much this winter. Hopefully, I will be able to drive them up to NH a few times, too. They liked Pats Peak and Shawnee Peak, but Sunday River was just toooo huge. Now that they are old enough to snowboard by themselves my skiing days are done, but I don't mind sitting in the lodge with hot cocoa.
