Man is it crowded here/Party for the Senses

Have been here since Wednesday, crowds fine, geez, that was until Friday and today! Nuts, misreable, etc. etc etc. Weather is great though.
Went to the Party for the Senses-had a great time, wonderful wine, food just as good. Most folks were dressed in dockers/shirts/women in lots of capris, etc. Not too many that were over dressed. My husband and bro-in-law had on nice dress shorts and a nice shirt and not an issue (like they would notice anyways!). Only folks that really stuck out was the guy with the jeans, black cowboy hat and cowboy boots and the woman who had these jean shorts and back pack on and some t-shirt. Cirque was beautiful as were the decorations. We had the pleasure of having a husband/wife sit with us and the wife was a wine distributor for several wineries. Had some very informative conversations going.

We were down there last weekend and after the crowds and steaming heat on Sat, we decided it was AK all the way on Sunday. Loved that shade!

Monday we returned to EPCOT for f&w and it the difference was amazing. No crowds and a very nice breeze from the bay. When we commented on the change in crowds, the basic response we got (cm or other vacationers) was, "Uh yeah, no one comes on the weekends, it is packed with locals!" Next year we will probably hop in quick for PFTS and stay away until the weekdays.

BTW, when we came back to our rooms to freshen up before dinner, we would take a quick dip in the quiet pool at BWV. It felt wonderfully refreshing, but wasn't at all uncomfortable. The perfect temp for 90+ days.

Glad to hear you had a great trip! We went to the PFTS last weekend (first time) and it was wonderful! We were a bit surprised to see some of the guests dressed in shorts, but most were dressed as requested. We were in Disney Friday thru Wednesday. What a difference in crowds Monday. We arrived early Friday at SSR and was surprised that the parking lots were empty of cars. First time we had seen that. By 9PM at night, the lots were full. We noticed Saturday that all the parking passes opn the dashboards had a Sunday departure.

We are going to go again next year also, but are going to arrive Saturday. Lay low Sunday and enjoy the empty parks during the week.
