I'm sorry but I do!!! :lovestruc Not only can you get good deals on stuff, it is a GREAT place to get rid of your cr#p .(I don't know if you can say that word on the disboards ;))

I had to get rid of some of my old dolls , Bath and Body works stuff , and other things that were just cluttering up my end table/trunk in the living room. I really needed the room in the trunk to put my knicnacks I have out by Christmas to put them up. So far I have made over 200 bucks on my clutter! lol

I hear ya!

In the past month, I made over $1200 with junk that has been cluttering up my house! I have 40 auctions up right now to get rid of more. Now I'm getting rid of all those great deals  that I manage to pick up!

The bad part about it is that I'm making all this $$ right before I go to WDW. I know I will just bring home more "treasures" from there to fill up the newly emptied space in my house:rotfl:

No one is buying my cr#p! I must not be pricing right! Haygan, what the heck do you sell? You seem consistently to do really well!

I just found out by searching at other ppls auctions that one of the dolls I currently own and bought last year for 19 dollars, is selling for over 200 dollars!!!!!!! :faint:

If it wasn't such a rare one , I'd hawk mine right now . ;)

I am such a whiner. I just sold something and realize I have sold $220 since I began evay about a month ago. OP is thrilled with that amount. I should be too! I think I have unrealistic expectations of what I will sell. 100% sell through is probably unrealistic! Yeah, ebay is pretty cool. I amend myself. :rotfl:

That's is pretty good especially since you just started.

To answer your question about my sales, I have been selling alot of Disney pins and stuff as well as some Bath and Body Works, Philosophy and other stuff that I bought and never used. Now I am selling toys and more pins. I got these d@mn pins comin' out my ears :rotfl:

i've had an ebay account for years but never really sold anything. So, i started last week...up to $200 off of only 16 items posted! i think i've found a new hobby! i just have to be careful...or i'll have nothing left in the house! :rotfl:

I recently went through my DS(9) closet and listed about 40 items and made about $300.00 - mostly on old children's VHS video tapes and books - most of this stuff I would of just thrown away at some point - glad I didn't.

YAY for EBAY!!!

Thanks HayGan. BTW love your chicken little!

You guys inspire me to start selling on Ebay! I'm the one buying the cr*p! :rotfl: I have good intentions on listing, but I end up looking around and buying. Isn't that nuts?!?

I've sold one thing. LOL.

:rotfl2: that's funny!

Yeah, sometimes I spend too, but since I have been listing (and reading this board!) I am less inclined to buy stuff. The idea is to try to reduce cr#p in house, increase $ in bank account. That's what's driving me!

We should have our own club. The "Ebay your way to a happier vacation" club! any joiners? :)

Me!!Me!! I want to join!

I have been listing about 10 items once a week and I've been doing ok, but I'm running out of things to sell. I like the extra income so I'm not sure where to go from here.

I want to try ebaying too.....but I'm not sure where to find info on listing, selling and accepting payments. I tried asking my husband to show me, but he won't. He thinks that if he shows me how to do it, I'll probably try to sell most of his old games and CD's. Anyhoo....could someone please show me the way?

Thanks

ebay RULES!!!!

Anytime I can shop from home is great!

I agree  I buy and sell on Ebay, but I mostly buy lately. We always check Ebay first before we buy something in a store. Ebay is usually sooooo much cheaper! You can't beat the convenience of having the stuff delivered right to your house, either :)

just click away, most of your questions will be answered here.

also, accepting payments, check into paypal, you will need to establish an account with them first before listing your first auction if you wish to accept paypal payments (seems to be the standard for most auctions)

good luck! :wizard:

I love ebay also My husband has be laid off a lot lately and ebay has helped us make ends meet I have been cleaning up lots ofour collectables. Not getting what I paid for some of it but money in my pocket is better than this stuff hanging around collecting dust.Selling lots of pins and disney collectables. We should. hehe Call it "The Ebaying our way to Disney" club with the motto (though I don't think it would be apppropriate ;)) "We're so full of cr#p we'll sell you some!" :goodvibes
