And LOVED it! My expectations weren't too high from the commercials, but I have to say I really liked it.

Bolt's movements were so dog-realistic. I wish I could get a real-life Bolt for myself! DH said he will agree as soon as we find a real dog who has a real lightning-bolt shape in his fur..........party pooper!

DS (6) also really liked it. DH said it was "okay," but he doesn't get excited about many movies so that is his usual reaction to everything.
It was in 3-D and so were all of the previews.

I was kind of surprised that John Lasseter's name was in the credits as I think it was just Disney. There was no mention of Pixar studios. We did see a preview for the new Pixar movie. Can't remember the name. It was something about an old guy. Didn't make me want to rush out and see it, but being Pixar, it will probably be pretty good.

My grandson 6yrs wants to see this, he loves the expressions on the hampsters face. We have seen movie clips of it on the pc and it looks like it will be a good movie.

I thought it was great.

I was worried it was a little too long for DS, but it flew by!!

Pixar is Disney now.``From the Pixar website.

On January 24, 2006, Pixar entered into an agreement with The Walt Disney Company to merge the two companies. The deal was approved by shareholders of both companies and the merger became effective on May 5, 2006. Pixar is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.

It got a great review in our local paper. I normally only see the Pixar computer animated movies and have no interest in others, but I hope to see Bolt in 3-D next weekend ::yes::.

We saw it in 3d last night, and absolutely loved it!!!!! I would have loved it in 2d also. It was cute, sweet, funny, full of action, just a great movie. I thought UP looked great too, love the kid on the porch!
