Seriously, the DIS has gotten to the point where it's so rediculous to post anything. Everything turns into a fight. Everybody is so up-tight about EVERYTHING, that no matter what you say, SOMEONE is offended.
So what's the deal? We have people freaking out over posts. We have people stealing other people's ideas for threads. We have people making alters so they can feel better about themselves, because nobody is agreeing with them, and they can't take it. Now I'm not going to try to stand here and act like I'm not part of the problem, because I am. I've gone off on people when it probably wasn't nessesary, but that aside, at least I can take a freaking insult. At least I don't freak out when someone doesn't like something I do. At least I don't make alter after alter to back myself up because I'm too much of a chicken to accept the fact that hey, not everybody likes the same stuff I do. Jesus.
Now I just said "Jesus" to prove a point. I bet anything that someone here will get all offended at that and be like....

It's like that ALL THE TIME now. Someone will say they don't like cheerleaders and a million people will post reminding them that not all cheerleaders are like that. Someone will say they don't like emo kids and a million people will post saying that not all emo kids are like that. Heck, someone will even aknowledge the fact that not all ____ are like that, and there will STILL be someone getting their panties in a bunch and freaking out over it like nobody else has ever felt like that.
I remember way back when I first joined. It's actually earlier than the date says. People here were actually, cool. We didn't freak out over stuff. Someone said something that was offensive to someone, the other person wasn't getting really upset over it and practically calling a lawyer. Now, jesus. You sneeze and someone is going to attack you for it.
...and we've reacked the part where I've said most of what I want to say, and I'll eventually get the rest out as posts. I would just like to say now though, that I know someone is going to get upset over this. I would just like point out though, that I was fairly civil in this. I want to say I havn't named ANY names, so if you get upset over something you think is directed at you, well pfft that's your problem, because for all you know I could've been talking about _____. This thread was NOT made to bash people. It was made, hopefully to get people to loosen their belts a little and not be so uptight. That's all I'm asking for people. Calm down.
