Are they a go or a no go? I am looking at a bag I saw on the budget board by Overland Outfitters and thinking it would be perfect for my bil. He travels alot for work, has a boat, goes to farmers markets and kids sporting events. This bag would let him put his water bottle in a side pocket plus store his cell phone, magazines, etc...
Is it a go or a no go?

?? dosn't that pretty much depend on his "style"

I travel for work and use a lands end brief case, double sized for laptop and 'traveling office" paperwork.

Does he use something that is like what you want to get him? if so, go for it.

if it is just an oversized man purse..then no.

Sorry, but my husband would rather throw himself into oncoming traffic than wear a "man bag". popcorn::

He uses laptop bags for work. This would be useable for around town, going on the boat, going to the farmers market, kids soccer games, etc...He is not the sort of guy who is obsessed about gender rules though. He lives in a very progressive town and wears earthy sort of clothes you know like birkenstocks, khack pants with pockets, etc..

sounds like a man bag would be perfect.:hippie:

I feel like this :scared: when I see a guy with a purse (unless he is uncomfortabley holding it for his wife while she tries on clothes....that's acceptable:lmao:)

It is NOT a purse. It is a SATCHEL! Indiana Jones carried one :rotfl:

The replies on this thread have me cracking up! :lmao:

OP, all I can say is that you know this man. If you think he would like it, get it for him, but as with any gift you're uncertain about, include a gift receipt so he can exchange it if he doesn't like it.
