I just made a reservation to Mama Della's Restaurant at The Portofino Bay Hotel. How is the food? How is the menu? Is it expensive? Is it worth the money? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

I wish some more people would answer this question! I was trying to decide between Mama's and Tchoup Chop, I wanted to eat at Tchoup Chop, but my 15 year old son wanted to eat at Mama Della's, so we've decided that only me and hubby will go to Tchoup Chop and then we will take son another night to Mama's! It will probably break our budget bad though!!! If the food is amazing I'll be okay, but there is nothing worse than paying a lot of money for average (or below average) food.

Have you seen the menu on www.allears.net/uni/menu/menus.htm. It has the menu, but it's from 2007 and doesn't give prices, so I'm not sure how much tht would help.

My husband and I ate there in 2004 and really enjoyed it. We thought it was good traditional Italian food but it wasn't an out-of-this-world dining experience. I remember I had the lasagna. It was 'theme park' expensive but not outrageous. This link has prices http://www.allears.net/uni/menu/men_mdr.htm but it's from 2007.

We are going back again this June since my teenage sons want to eat Italian.
