Mama Melrose's terrible

I would not eat there again. It was just OK. We had 4 adults in our party and none of us thought it was more than average. The vodka sauce was not really anything near what vodka sauce should really be. We enjoy Prime time and sci-fi more. We like Tony's better for Italian food.

On a side note though....we are Italian.

It was just OK the last time we ate there. On other visits, it was better. Maybe it was the waiter!

We have never had a bad meal here.

Is it gourmet - no - but it is good food. We have never run into a situation here where we thought a dish was subpar or not prepared as it should be. As with all the TS restaurants, it's menu has been hurt by DDP/FD, but most of our favorites are still there.

We've had yummy steaks, tasty pastas, great servers, not to mention great ambience and fantastic music.

We're at WDW 3-4 times each year and probably eat here at least once each trip.

I've eaten there 3 times, and each time it seemed a little more mediocre.

2002 was our best experience. There was some kind of oak grilled pork my wife ordered. It was one of our favorite dishes in all of WDW. I think that recipe was actually moved to Cali Grill.

2006 was so-so. Same with 2009. Olive Garden quality, maybe a little worse.

Not the worst place to eat in WDW, but certainly not the best, either. Unfortunately, DHS seems to have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to food.

We ate there last year. The food was good, our server was nice, the service was good. We have ressies again in Feb because we all liked it. It wasn't very busy when we were there. It's a cute restaurant.

Considering DHS Restaurants are very expensive and the food is fair to not so good.

I've eaten at all the restaurants here and MM is OK but I found you need to watch what you order. Some of the food is heavy on oregano which can overpower a dish.

Okay so since I actually enjoy Olive Garden (ie. depending on the location), I'm thinking I might enjoy MM. Thanks everyone.

We really enjoyed it and we had heard so many bad things about it we were pleasantly surprised. It isn't our favourite restaurant in all of Disney but it was enjoyable for sure.

We have lunch or dinner on every one of our trips. Love the minestrone soup. We usually have great service there as well.

I'm no food critique but we have eaten there three times before and have reservations there for our upcoming trip.

We have eaten there a number of times and we have never had a bad meal or bad service; we've always been quite pleased with our meals. In fact, I am contemplating changing our September ADR from Sci-Fi (which we ate at last time) to Mama Melrose becuase we've missed it the last two years.

We ate there once and enjoyed it. The service was slow but the food was good.

Not sure if its the same recipe but Allears has an oak grilled pork chop on MM menu.

We had two F package at MM before and enjoyed it both times. I heard so many bad review also but didn't have the same experience. We do go to Magianno's and Olive Garden around here and food is similar. Service was always excellent and didn't see anything wrong....
It might not be the best TS in DW but doable options especially with F! package.
In fact, we have another F! Adr at MM this Sept. :goodvibes

We really enjoy it! DH has requested to go back on our next trip.

We have been there 3 times over the last few years and have always had a good meal!

we really liked Mama Melrose. We had other meals at Disney that were better, but we did like it a lot. My DS and her DH also ate their another timeand really loved it.
