Mama Melrose's rezzie- Fantasmic package

Hello everyone!
I booked my ADR's last week and got everything I was hoping for, which I'm excited about!

I had a quick question about the Fantasmic Package- I booked the package with dinner at Mama Melrose's, and I was told that the total for two adults would be $76. Has anybody done the dinner package through Mama Melrose's? Is this the cost? It seemed a bit high to me, but I wanted to check.

I found a reference to it being $38 and some change during peak dining times, for adults. So sounds right to me.

Where did you see that price? I was thinking it would depend on what you ordered, but I don't know that for sure. Does that mean that it is a fixed price for each restaurant if you do the Fantasmic package? I understand that Mama Melrose is the least expensive of the 3 choices. My parents are going with me, and I think they would not be happy about paying $38 dollars a piece for a meal at lunch time. I wouldn't be thrilled about it either, but I would do it if necessary. We did Hollywood and Vine last year, I know it was a fixed price for lunch or dinner, but I thought that was because it was a buffet. Thanks for any direction you can give!

Has anybody done the Fantasmic package through Mama Melrose's? Is the package a good deal, a fun experience?

Hollywood & Vine is actually the most economical of the packages (but IMHO, the food is YUCK!). Mama Melrose is a fixed price; you get to choose one appetizer, one entree and one dessert off their lunch/dinner menu (not a special Fantasmic menu).

Did the package last year at Mama Melrose during xmas week. don't know the price because we had DDP(1TS-but you are able to get app, entree and dessert with F! pkge). The meal was great..DH liked his steak better than prime rib dinner at Le Cellier the night before. Nice way to get the app included in your regular dining plan...I would do the package again if we are on DDP to get the most out of 1TS credit.

The price is definetely a fixed price. With the price you get one non-alcoholic drink, one appetizer, one dessert. We did this in February and with tax/tip, it was close to $100.00 for the two of us. It was the first time we paid OOP for it, and it was a stinger for sure!

Just to confirm what others are saying - right, it's a fixed price no matter what you order, but you order from the menu. It's a little confusing they way the information is presented sometimes - like on allears where they say you can order from the menu now at HBD. But it's still a set price for the F! package at all 3 of the restaurants.

Thanks for all of the information!! Would you say it's worth it to book the Fantasmic package? This is our first trip to The World together (and my first in nearly 20 years!), and our 5th anniversary celebration, so I want to make it special!

we loved it, and definetly order the chicken parmesean. Its awesome and there is so much that you will be stuffed. Of course we are big chicken parm guys. But keep this in mind. You will be eating a early dinner if you get the fantasmic package. We had to have our ressie at 3:30. They want to give you plenty of time. Plus you get a "back door" so to speak entrance to the fantasmic show. Ahead of the crowd!!

Yes, but you need to search Fantasmic Package, you cannot make a ressie for F! on the regular dining site - if you do you are only getting dinner.

There isn't an extra charge for the show. The F! package does include designated seating so you only need to show up 30-45 minutes before the show to get a seat.

Each time we have done the F! package & have enjoyed Mama Melrose & LOVE the show!

I have been trying since last night and this am to make ADRs online and can't get it to work, anyone else having problems? My reservations I currenly have for dining and resort all pop up, but when I put in to make another one, it just loads and goes back to original screen.

if you go to www.disneyworld.com/dining and select "Dining Event" you can choose the Fantasmic package off the drop down menu and book like you would the rest of the ADRs. You need to put a credit card hold with it too.
