Mama Melrose's Fantasmic Package

We are not really adventurous eaters and our 12 year old is super picky but he does like pizza. So, what are your thoughts on Mama Melrose's?

And, how does the Fantasmic package work? Is there an extra cost?

Mama Melrose is yummy!! The flatbread is great. DS2 and DNiece5 (at the time, now 3 and 6) loved the restaurant. They got spaghetti, and my niece was (one of many, I noticed) Chef of the Day. I'm wishing I had some Mama Melrose right now. Yes, at 9:45 in the morning.

You get little tickets for reserved seating when you book a package, and I don't believe there is an extra cost (we weren't charged). You will have to hold the ADR with a credit card, though.

The Fantasmic package at MM is fixed price, $32.99 for anyone age 10+. For that price each person gets an appetizer, entree, dessert, and drink. You order from the regular menu, so depending on what you order, it may be a good value and it may not. I'm guessing for your son, it won't be. Then at the end of your meal, they give you Priority seating passes for that evening's Fantasmic show. So technically you really are paying for the Priority seating because in a lot of cases, you probably wouldn't spend $32.99 per person for your meal.

There is a set price, thus perhaps an extra charge, but we have done it twice and loved it both times.

We ate at Mama Melrose with the fantasmic package and we had a fantastic meal and our server was great too, can't remember his name.

It is one of our favorite restaurants at WDW. We eat there every trip.
