No pictures here either, but just great experiences. Food has been good whenever we've eaten here. It's our favorite Full Service restaurant in MGM.

Yum, that picture of the penne ala vodka looked delish! That is what I always order when I eat at MM. We love eating here! The atmoshphere, the food, the service...they are all tops in our book!

We love it also. Ask for Kevin if he is working. We have had him as our waiter our last two trips. He is wonderful and makes the meal so much fun!

Mama M. is our favorite restaurant at MGM and probably in all of the parks. We go every trip. We've had lunch and dinner....the flatbread pizza is wonderful, the pasta and chicken very good. We enjoy the atmosphere. We just got back on Tues, the 22nd and gone to Mama M for lunch on Sat. the 19th. We each had the green salad with gorgonzola cheese and a large bowl of the minestrone soup for lunch. Good coffee too! The kids had the pasta. My daughter loved the kids size iceberg lettuce salad. I think our server was Kevin as well. I wish there was a rest. like this in MK. We had such a bad experience with LTT on the 18th. We've done CP many times before and were looking for a change.

We love thier pizzas and eat there at least twice every trip. I also adore thier eggplant parmesean, but it is such a huge portion I don't get it much. DFi will not eat it and I don't feel like lugging the leftovers back to the resort.

I am totally in the minority here, but we weren't happy, but that was only with the kid's meals. The kids hated it, so I shared mine with them, plus we had a horrible waiter. He served my daughter cheesecake and she didn't have a fork because they cleared off the table completely before dessert came, so we asked the waiter and he took one off another table! lol I couldn't believe it, the people had left obviously and I think it was clean, but gross, they could have touched it! We just got up and asked someone else to get us a clean one and they did.

Okay, having said that, due to all the good reviews ours was probably a fluke, we just do not have any desire to go back.

Mama Melrose is now one of our favorites. We loved every bit of everything we ordered!!! We even had the sangria which was refreshing and yummy! We had the mozz and tomatoes which were SO GOOD; DH enjoyed the vegetarian minestrone and I had the field greens; we shared and devoured the vine-ripened tomato flatbread; and we ended with the chocolate gelato.

Can't wait to go back!

Food quality was excellent. Our waitress was not the friendliest gal in town, but she was efficient and knowledgeable. We aren't the sort who gets into detailed conversations with wait staff, so it worked out perfectly. We had the fantasmic package and and asked to switch to the regular menu when we sat because we were too tired to make it that evening. She didn't blink an eye and brought us regular menus. We would eat there again.

I'm glad I found this thread because I was wondering the same thing.

I found some reviews, menu and pictures of food on ourlaughingplace.com that were very helpful. I'll be trying it for the 1st time on Dec. 10th.
