Mama Melrose vs 50 PT

Trying to decide between Mama Melrose and 50's. Ive never been to WDW and so I have no idea which to choose. Could you please give me your opinion on both of these?

Also: We plan on doing a lot of different types of restaurants: character meals, meal in the castle (hopefully), coral reed (atmosphere).....I know 50's PT has the wait staff that gives you a hard time all in good fun...what does Mama Melrose do - if anything?

Mama Melrose does nothing special as far as the dining experience goes. If i were choosing between the 2 I would def choose the Prime Time. We love their food and we love the experience. It is unique and a great disney experience. Mama Melrose has good food too... but to me its just another restaurant.

Thanks, I was thinking 'When In Disney.....' I can go to any Italian restaurant here so that is why I am wondering. I guess now I have to decide between the atmosphere and entertainment vs food (and I say this because i love Italian food) LOL choices choices choices

if you love italian you could go to Tutto Italia at EPCOT. That way you get both!
