I can't decide between the two??....or doing lunch or dinner?? Would love your thoughts. While I think my kids would like the atmosphere of 50s...I'm not so sure about the menu? And I know they'd get a kick out of the spaghetti and meatballs desert at Mamas....hmmmm???

We had dinner at both places in Feb. My kids are still talking about the fun they had at 50's. The food was good at both, but Mama's was just not as memorable.

My DD, then 9, loved the 50's PTC. We didn't get a really "crazy" waiter, which was fine with us, but she liked watching the old TV shows and just the atmosphere of the place. I ordered the fried chicken - pretty good stuff - and DD helped me eat about half of it, as well as my chocolate shake. She can't wait to go back this August!

We liked Mamma's for the dinner package with Fantasmic. Well worth it. Never been to 50's. Food was good at Mamma's.
Good Luck!

Our next visit I will have tried ALL TS dining at DHS....

We did 50's Prime Time in May 2010 and it was my favorite meal of the day... even over HBD....

We'll try MM F! Dining plan and Sci Fi in May 2012.....

So I suppose my advice is that Prime Time has great Pot Roast and that the F! dining plan is spectacular....

Have a magical visit !
Mary

Mama Melrose is pretty quiet, but the food is good. 50's would be the place to go if you want to have a little fun with your meal.

Both have good food, so you can't go wrong with either, but your children will probably have more fun at 50s Prime time.
