I've tried to explore for answers and am not havnig much luck. The price for the Fantasmic Dining Package says it includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

Are the flabreads on the menu considered an appetizer or an entree?

Do the prices of the items come into play at all? I priced out a meal and it was almost $50 but the price for the package is only $44.99....so are you only able to order from certain items?

I've read that they run behind for seating. We have a 12:25 adr and a fp for 1:40-2:40, I'm not sure if I should reschedule the fp or not.

Flatbreads are not an app, they're an entree.
You can order anything you want except dessert. You get a dessert sampler instead.

Where is your fastpass at? You do have a 15 courtesy window after your time has ended. If it's for star tours, I think you'll be fine, since it's close but something across the park you might not make it.

We did the Fantasmic dining package a few years ago and there were no restrictions on what you could order. I ordered a pasta dish but the kids had steaks. You should be in and out in an hour or so, so unless they are running real late should be able to make a FP just about anywhere in the park.

Every time I have had the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose, I have been allowed a flatbread as an appetizer . . . the last time being less than a year ago. That being said, I have seen several people post on the Dis that they were not allowed to do that so I don't know if it is a Server thing or we have just always hit at a time it was allowed. :confused3 MM is notorious for running way behind on their ADR times, but you should still be able to make your FP. You are correct that the Fantasmic Dinner Package is a good deal - especially if you plan on eating at MM anyway.

We switched out our original Sci fi ADR for the MM Fantasmic package somewhat nervously, based on the lackluster reviews you often read and my mom's extreme pickiness about Italian food, but honestly - it was a great experience. We had a party of 10 (including a 1yo who needed a high chair) and it was only a couple of minutes before we were seated, after arriving right on time for our ADR. Some members of our party absolutely made an effort to order the most expensive appetizer and entree items just b/c they could do so with no upcharge!

Just to add to the dessert part - yes, it was a big platter, really quite a lot, but the kids still get their own ice cream or cupcake. The kids snagged some of the adults' platter, but we still didn't polish it all off. Also, DH (who has celiac) had his own dessert plated separately, so if it's necessary for allergy reasons - they aren't going to force the shared platter on anyone.

It was about 90min for our entire meal, from ADR time to the exit door. I don't think it would have been that long with a smaller group, though. Everything with my extended family takes forever. :) I would be comfortable with your FP time, personally, but wouldn't necessarily expect to get there in the first half of the time frame.
