How is the food here and how does the package thing work? Thanks!!!:goodvibes

We did this in August and we liked the food (we are easily pleased though) it wasn't outstanding but about average of the 12 WDW TS restaurants we dined at!

You receive a certificate for the Fantasmic viewing and it tells you where to enter (pretty close to the main entrance) our server told us to get there about 15 mins before show time, thank goodness we didn't listen to him, we arrived about 40 mins early and there were already tons of package people in there  We still got really good seats though. If you're standing at the top looking down the section on the RHS was reserved for the package, we felt the best views were to get as close to rope as possible.

Hope that helps :)

dh had a sausage dish that he said wasnt very good. I had eggplant parm, it was good. the flatbread pizza appetizer is very good. The tiramasu was WONDERFUL.

Does the Fantasmic Dinner package coordinate with the dining plan? How does that work? Thanks.

The ddp can be used for the Fantasmic Dinner pkg? If you cancel less than 48 hours they charge you a fee (I think it is $10 per person.)

I would highly recommend the Fantasmic Dinner pkg if it is a very crowded park time. We used it in Feb. 2004 (presidents week) and there were people waiting well over an hour and a lot of people didn't get in. We showed up 1/2 hour before the show and had decent seats (in my opinion.)

Didn't do the Fantasmic Dinner pkg in Sept. 2007. Just walked in 1/2 hour before showtime and found a good seat.

The only reason I am debating on whether to do the package is because the 5 days we are there it is the last weekend to see Fantasmic....it will be closed for a week after that weekend we are there. It is not a very crowded time .....we are going Thursday Jan. 24th but I also hate to go there an hour before to secure a seat either. Thanks for the replies.
