Malls, outlets, locations

I plan to arrive in Orlando 2 days before my family arrives to do WDW. The purpose of this early arrival is to do some solo shopping and take advantage of the end of summer sales. Can anyone tell me how convenient the larger shopping malls and outlets are to get to, i.e. are most just off interstates or main artieries - I will be renting a car. Also interested in modest accommodations for two nights that might be near shopping areas. Appreciate any help.

Here are directions to two of the outlet malls.

Orlando Premium Outlets: (from Downtown Disney area)----turn onto Hotel Plaza Blvd (where the Courtyard, Grosvner, etc.) are and follow it to 535 (Cross roads shopping center light.) Turn right onto 535 and go under I-4. At the next light turn left (The road has Vineland in it's name) follow this road all the way to where it turns right. Outlets are on your right as you pass the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. About five minutes from DD

Lake Buena Vista Outlets: (from Downtown Disney area)----turn onto Hotel Plaza Blvd (where the Courtyard, Grosvner, etc.) are and follow it to 535 (Cross roads shopping center light.) Turn right onto 535. Stay on 535--outlets are down on the left. About ten minutes from DD.


To get to Belz--I just follow the signs (there are billboards that tell you what exit to take).

Hi....fellow shopaholic!!

I would diffinitely recommend a hotel on International Drive - there you can find:

Belz Factory Outlet - and designer Outlet
Pointe Orlando Mall
The Mercado - small but nice
Orlando Premium Outlet ( GREAT)

All these can be reached by taking the I-Ride Trolley ( 75 cents - 2 dollars for a 1day pass ) - really easy!!

Also; there are a must go shopping mall : The Florida Mall - take Lynx-bus no. 42
