Ok, I know someone has asked Malificent why she has green skin in the parks and did not in her latest movie. What types of answers have you gotten?

The one in the park, as far as I can tell, is based off of the cartoon. Besides Jack Sparrow and Mary Poppins, Disney doesn't usually represent live action characters in the park, especially if they are so new. I think?

Correct. They don't usually, but they did recently. The Jolified version appeared in a special M&G at the recent 24-hour event. No clue if that will happen again, maybe at the Villains hard-ticket in August.

And understand that...but I know that Rapunzel has to have a story as to why she still has long blonde hair in the parks while it was short and brown at the end of her movie. I'm just curious as to what Maleficent would say to explain the difference. I'm almost certain she would not tell a 6 year old girl, "Oh, I'm not THAT Maleficent!" I'm sure she has something that is better than that.

Pretty sure OP is looking for in character answers

She does? Now I'm curious as to what it is...along with the story for why Beast appears as the Beast and not Adam, or why Ariel greets in her fin at her grotto...

Hmmm. Maybe something along the line of "it must have been something I ate at H&V last night". Keeping it completely believable.:rotfl2:

IIRC, Ariel says something about Triton giving her fin back temporarily so she can visit her family or something. But I might be making that up, haha.

Sorry - I should have read closer! I'm not sure what she'd say. For what it's worth, I saw the green Malificent in Epcot last month and she was awesome, both in look and demeanor. I'm sure she will come up with something great.

was that his name? Adam?!!

Green skin is in Fantasy Land -- where they "legend" comes to life -- White skin is the "reality" the "real" story that spawned the legend.

The Beast is one that has always got me, in all spin off media such as House Of Mouse, Kingdom Hearts, Meet & Greets, etc. He his in Beast form yet is a good guy in love with Belle.

This one has really stood out for me more than any other inconsistencies, I don't know why.

I dunno. Beauty and the Adam just doesn't have the same kick to it. Since when does fantasy have to adhere to rules? Look at Mickey and Minnie- how many women do you know that would hang around a guy for this many decades without a ring to show for it?
