I love coasters and spinning rides, but I usually don't go on this particular type of ride, but was talked into it when we went to DCA. It looks intense from the ground (which is why I didn't want to ride), but when you actually ride it, it really isn't that big a deal. It goes up and down so fast that you barely notice it. The scariest part is the plastic shield that surrounds your face.
A tidbit of info: I asked one of the cast members why they had the plastic shields and he said it was to cut down on the noise because of noise regulations in Anaheim. He said most people think it is for people who up-chuck or try to spit from the top. However, I guess when they ran without the shields, the screams could be heard several miles away. The only downside is that if you are claustraphobic, then the ride might not be that fun.
Here is a closeup pix of my wife, so you can see what the seat looks like with the shield I was talking about:
If you liked Tower of Terror then you'll want to try this one. It looks a lot worse than it really is, and you get a very quick view of Anaheim from the top.

This ride is a total blast. You're shot up, and then you drop like the ToT, in small increments. We went on this three times in a row, and will probably go again today.
