Omg I just found this out! Angelina Jolie is Maleficent I cannot wait for this! She has always been my favorite disney character (she turned into a dragon as a child that was awesome! ).

I'm not sure how I feel about this........the plot summary kinda sounds familiar....a little "Wicked" a little "Oz the great and powerful"

I have seen Wicked on Broadway. Everyone loves it but I thought it was ok. I thought Oz was ok. I am a big fan of Alice in Wonderland live action film I(well the animated one too . I think a lot of the people involved in AIW are involved in this movie.

I watch Once Upon a Time and I did like the story of how Regina ( the evil queen) came to hate snow white. I also like the stories of how she got to be so powerful.

I think this movie will be visually stimulating like AIW. I just hope it is not like Snow White and the Huntsman lol

I read Wicked.....didn't care for it. My bf swears the play is better than Phantom lol. Oz graphics were amazing but I found the story lacking. LOVED Alice!

In the trailer the graphics look pretty cool. Wondering if it will be 3d?
I'm super glad they're going toward villians as the star but I worry the story will always be the same. She was nice until some man broke her heart......

I really liked the actress they had play Maleficent in the first season. She was great! I was a little annoyed that Regina was able to "defeat" her so easily. Everyone knows Maleficent would make minced meat of the Evil Queen.

Anyway, Maleficent is my favorite villain. I'm sooooo excited for this movie to come out despite the fact the plot seems to liberally borrow from Wicked. The only movie I'm more excited about is Star Wars Episode 7.
