Mal TY for AD-aware!! Only thing that could uninstall invader comet curser!!!!!!!!

Mal thank-you for informing me about Spyware and how to clean it off our computers with Ad-aware!!

I woke up this morning turned on the computer to boot up and found a comet curser Invasion on my browers.

I immeadately went to Add/Remove Programs and tried to uninstall it but only part of it would uninstall.

So I started Ad-aware it found 106 items named comet curser and a file. It was able to clean all but 1 item and the file but advised me to reboot and run Ad-aware again. I did that and it was able to then clean out the 1 item and the File.

I then rechecked Add/Remove Programs it showed comet curser. I clicked remove and it told me it had been uninstalled and did I want to remove the name?? Of couse I clicked yes!!
What a relief!!

Thanks to Mal I installed Ad-aware 5.0 from
www.lavasoftUSA.com which cleans these Spyware programs off your computer!!

Can't say it enough - run Ad Aware EVERY DAY, and especially immediately after logging on to rewards sites clicking here and there and opening new windows.

Each and every program I participate in downloads spyware at one point or another, I've noticed. Whether they are big names or smaller ones...

BTW, Ad-Aware is now up to version 6.0......
So if you want to get the latest and greatest, go for the latest version.
The last time I ran it, it found about 145 hidden files on my computer, and over 40 of them were Gator.
