Has anyone ever made window clings? I seem to recall someone here mentioning she was planning on making some, but I don't recall seeing how it was done. Any thoughts or experience? Thought this would be a really fun way of using the amazing designs here. There are only so many t-shirts, tote bags, pillow cases, activity books, stroller signs that my family is willing to put up with. I need to move on to a new medium before they abandon me.

I haven't made any yet but I bought the window cling paper today at office depot. I am going to try some tomorrow so I will post back as to how it goes.

I am making window clings to decorate our Pop window to celebrate our DS graduation trip, and 4th of July.

Cool! Thanks Tracie. What brand of paper was it? Is it actually called window cling paper? Good luck.

I have made some with the Office Depot window decals. They turned out okay and I will be making more for our upcoming trip. The only problem I have is trying to find designs that do not contain the color white, as it does not print. I am hoping that with the curtains closed they will look okay. I also printed the mirror image so that I can place them on the inside of the window.

Hope that helps. :)

Where do you find the window clings?? I looked at Staples and couldn't find any.

I got a pack of 2 at AC Moore. they were almost $10 just for two. I just put it in the printer like paper and it printed. Looked great. BUT THEY ARE NOT REPOSITIONAL like it says. once there it is there. You takeit off then you might as well just throw away. This made me real upset mostly for the cost

I've gotten window cling paper at both Office Depot/Office Max (can't remember which one) and at Wal Mart (in the school section with the printer paper/envelopes). I usually use the Avery brand, which seems to work nicely, IMHO.

Just read PP comment and thought I'd add that the Avery brand is able to be repositioned and is cheaper.

I got mine at Office Depot and paid a little under $20 for a pack of 10(the Office Depot brand). These are repositionable. We have one up now that DS has moved several times.

Here's a picture of our window at POP, I decorated it for DGS birthday. I used the window decals from Office Depot, I printed them so that they were placed outside. The one in the middle of the window had a lot of white in the design, but it still looked allright clear.

It is office depot brand and it says window decal papaer on the package, it was with the speciality paper next to the t-shirt paper. Didn't get to try it today, we were building a fence and that took all day, so wil try again tomorrow.

I forgot it was $13.99 for 10 sheets

Those look very nice! hope mine come out that good

I've made window clings for other stuff, but I'd never really thought of making them for our Pop Century window. Thanks for the new idea!!!

I have the Office Depot window clings because I was trying to make them for my car (for my son's baseball team).

My question is, how do you get them off the backing paper once you cut them out? Or do all of your designs take a full sheet? I never thought to use them on our resort room window. Cool!
