As this is our first trip with our littles (will be 2 & 5) and our 8th wedding anniversary when we go next summer... I was thinking of ways to get the most out of our DDP and include CD experiences, so they can meet many of their most loved characters.

I haven't officially planned which days we will be visiting each park, but I know for sure we are allotting...
MK - 3 days
Epcot - 1 days
HS - 1 days
AK - 1 days
- We may return to either Epcot, HS, or AK depending on which park the kiddos want to see again :)

This is what I am thinking... FOR NOW... at least. I know I can't make ressies for a LONG time so these are not set in stone, just what my brain has been pondering lately :scratchin

MK - Be Our Guest (1 TS), Cinderella's Royal Table (2 TS, CD), Crystal Palace (1 TS, CD)

AK - Tusker House (1 TS, CD) OR Yak and Yeti (1 TS)

HS - 50s Prime Time Cafe (1 TS)

Epcot - Akershus (1 TS, CD) OR Rose and Crown (1 TS) Or Teppen Edo (1 TS)

Resort - POR Boatwright's (1 TS)

Other options for us:
GF 1900 Fare Park (Supercalifragilistic breakfast OR Happily Ever After dinner) (1 TS, CD)
PLY Ohana Character Breakfast (1 TS, CD) - We love Stitch, Lilo, Mickey, etc.

I am so sad that there is no CD at Liberty Tree Tavern. Went there back in 2006 (Disneymoon), and it was a lot of fun, got to see all our favorite characters.

What are your thoughts on these places? I know that it will be hard to get a ressie for BOG, but I really want to try. Same for CRT, but we've done it before, and this is a MUST for our daughter.

On our MUST do list: CRT, Boatwright's, BOG (if possible)

Thanks!

If you are wondering if the DDP is a good choice for your family, you should price it out like pp said.

As for the restaurants...

BOG is the hardest right now. I think the best way to try for it is be online at 6am, plan for it on one of the last days of your vacation to take advantage of +10, and make it the first thing you try to reserve.

For your AK day if you want to make the most of character dining, I would choose TH breakfast and try for a pre park opening time. The food is very good and Goofy lead the kids around in a little parade.

For Epcot, of the one you listed, I would choose Akershus if you don't mind 2 princess meals. I have only had breakfast there, it is a buffet of cold selections (pasteries, fruit, yogurt, salmon, cheeses) and the entree is typical eggs/potatoes/breakfast meat served family style. The potato casserole is delicious!

I like the dinner at 1900. The food is just ok imo, but the characters are great. The stepsisters are really funny.
