I think I got one of my sisters on board about EMH at the MK.
She told me she wanted to Park-hop on the MK day.
I told her, about ariving early in the morning,
taking an afternoon break and coming back for the evening.
And,
she was happy with that.


I also gave her the menu for O'hana's on our first nite and she is all excited. She remembered when some tv show was there and she is excited about riding the mono-rail. I had no clue, she never was on the mono-rail. Maybe I can get them to do the drink-along the mono-rail, even though I not a big drinker-but it is fun exploring The Contemporary and the Grand Floridian. Do they let you tour Bay Lake Towers or do you need a special key to get in since it is DVC.

Yeah, sounds like they are having a good time too. Today is my sister's 21st birthday so I wonder what they're up to! I think they have an ADR at the Prime Time or Sci-Fi tonight.

Cool! Yeah, we would most likely be at the MK that morning for early opening if it weren't for our breakfast. I guess depending on what we get done earlier in the week maybe we'll go back.

As far as getting into Bay Lake Tower, I'm not exactly sure. I know on our trip in Aug. '09 we got in but we might've said how we were DVC members or else gotten lucky that someone was going in as we got there.

Those CM discounts for resorts and the DDP are amazing! I had a friend who just tried the CP and she went home after a month, it just wasn't for her! It's too bad though, I was all ready to go down there and visit!

It is really exciting! I know she's looking forward to it. I feel kind of bad for her that today's their last day already but I can't feel too bad seeing as the next time she goes she'll be going for 5 months!

Not much to report on other than that. I talked to my family a couple times and it does sound like it's busier than usual, even for busy times! Yesterday they were at the Animal Kingdom for rope drop and couldn't even ride the safari. They went to do Expedition Everest first and got a fastpass, so they couldn't get one at the safaris. Still sounds like they were able to do pretty much everything they wanted to. So not like I was expecting anything otherwise but I guess there's going to be big crowds when we're there. Maybe it'll slow down in a couple weeks. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

No spring break for my districtThe board took it away from us last year. They tried to tell us it's a benefit, as we'd be able to get out of school earlier, BUT add a snowday or 2 and we have to make them up and we're right back into June for the end of year.

They actually get out of school by May 7th-15th, so hopefully all their Spring breaks will be done, same with the colleges. Me and my sisters decided it is okay not to be "commando" and just do a few things at the parks. (My kids must have been talking to their aunts). But hey, I can sit and relax.

I almost booked the "dessert party" at the MK. But for $35 bucks a piece, we decided who needs all those sweets. I just wanted to book it for watching "Wishes". I can't believe there are openings yet.

My calendar at work says 9 days too.

I've been down there before Easter week, and I've seen busy. I'm am hoping all the schools in the south are done with Spring break. They actually get out of school by May 7th-15th, so hopefully all their Spring breaks will be done, same with the colleges. Me and my sisters decided it is okay not to be "commando" and just do a few things at the parks. (My kids must have been talking to their aunts). But hey, I can sit and relax.

I believe some Orlando school districts are having theirs this coming week and my school district begins 3/26 (when I will be leaving for WDW). It's very scattered down here, as I'm sure the rest of the country is especially with Easter being so late this year.

Oh yeah, we've been there Easter week too and after Christmas/for New Year's so we've seen the big crowds too. I know we'll be fine but it still makes me a little bit nervous. But we'll still have fun!

packed, I haven't even gotten my suitcase out of the attic. Though I may have to start earlier than normal since I have to work a lot at my other job this week because of college breaks starting. Boo.

FYI re: spring breaks times. I'm in south Florida (sort of) and 2 counties that I know of had their spring break this past week. It's pretty scattered here too. The district I work in has our break next week (obviously, LOL) but the district where my sisters and I went to school is later, like the week before Easter and I know some others are like that too. I'm kind of glad ours is earlier. I'm ready for a break!

Ohh, Star Wars weekends would be fun. It sounds like it gets pretty big crowds though. But May is a nice time to go. When we went in May '08 the weather was great and the F&GF was still going on.
