My family wants to wear t-shirts to DisneyWorld in June. We wanted to put a black Mickey head on the front - but I'm worried if this is a violation? I know the Disney characters are copyrighted, but would just the Mickey head be a violation? And by head, I mean just the three circles making a head and ears.

their is a thread on making the tied-dyed Mickey head shirts that you might want to check out. Disney hasn't said anything on that one -- I'm saying to check it out because it gives great info on how to do just the Mickey

We wore matching shirts that I got from the disboards & the only thing said was how great they were.

Now if you start selling them then look out -- I don't sell stuff on my blog so Disney doesn't say anything about that either but if I put a price tag or collect money somehow then that would be a very different story

If you were selling them, you might get in trouble, but not for just wearing them!

We made the tie-dyed Mickey ones and some iron on vinyl for our cruise. I'm still very proud of the vinyl ;)

where did you get the iron on vinyl?? does it stick to you when you wear them?? My iron on paper stuck to us really bad in the parks, you could see sweat going right around it while the rest of the shirt was find.

I was thinking of painting the next group I do - where you iron on the wax paper then paint inside

No, it's not sticky. We got a lot of comments on Pirate Night.

I got it from H&H Sign, Siser Easy Weed. It was SO easy to work with!

Thanks for the link Jennifer. I am going to have to try to make some shirts for our 2013 trip.
