Making reservations on borrowed points

Alright so this has been really bothering me, but basically I am making reservations and cancelling them all of the time to get what I want. Since I only have my stripped BLT contract loaded as of now to work with, I've had to borrow points to do all this switching.

Now, I have some reservations booked on "unborrowed" points and some on borrowed. I want all of them to be booked on the borrowed points that I can't bank.

Does this mean I have to cancel reservations I booked on regular points to use the borrowed ones or can MS just tell the system that the points I'm using are borrowed. I'm going to be pissed if all my progress is derailed Thanks!

The system will always take most restrictive points from your membership.

So, if you have borrowed points, those are stuck in that UY for use and the system will take them first.

However, then can only reallocate if the points are sitting in your account.

If they are tied into a reservation, they can not be moved without a cancel.

For examplle, lets say you booked an Oct trip with regular points and then later a Sept trip with borrowed.

But you want the regular in Sept and borrowed in October…that can’t happen without a cancel.

And this assumes everything has been transferred into the same membership.

Basically, you can’t move around points that are being used.

So if i need a four day trip and book a Boulder ridge trip September 10-14 with regular points and then a Polynesian September 10-13 pops up and I book this with borrowed points, but I'm short one day so i don't cancel the boulder ridge because im trying to secure one more day of poly, but then the one more day of Poly never happens so I have to stick with Boulder on these regular points, can I somehow call them and be like can you use my borrowed points for the Boulder or it's stuck with regular cuz that's how I booked it as? Sorry if this is confusing

If you book PVB for different dates, with borrowed points, they can’t be moved into BRV reservation without cancellation of PVB

If you are booking PVB as back up, and plan to only keep either PVB if all dates come through or cancel them if they don’t, then yes, then can reallocate.

But, you need to do at least 31 days or more ahead so you don’t end up with holding points.
