Making reservation changes

Has any one made changes to their reservations after booking. I am going to book for the family and add 2 guests in the hope they will join us. I want to reserve the space as this cruise is filling up, to get a room to sleep 4 is putting us on deck 1. If they can't join us I will either drop them from the reservations or find someone else and change the names. DU says no prblem and I believe them , just wondering if anyone else has done this.

As a p/t TA I have done this for other people. Should be no problem whatsoever as long as it is prior to 60 days before your cruise.

Answer to your question and another one also.

I've added an additional person to our cruise after we first booked with no problem but make sure it's before the 60 day cutoff or you will be assessed additional chargers according to the link at the top of this forum.

I do have another question for those TA's on the boards.

What about changing dates. I am thinking of booking a cruise for Feb time frame in 2004 while on board but don't have the week yet around Presidents week my grandson will have off. So to get the on board credit, I plan on booking for two people, put down the deposit and then add grandson and his mother later and maybe change date. Is this possible????

Yes, you can change dates. I did that recently for myself, switching from Sept. to Oct. 2003 for one of my cruises. The further ahead the better. Of course, the price may differ, because it will then be based on your new sailing date.

Thats what I thought.

Do you know are they accepting dates for FEb 2004 for the Magic western cruise yet. I looked on the Disney site and they only go to Dec 2003.

Hmmm. I don't know what you were looking at, but you can currently book through April 2004. You can book the western Feb. 2004, dates are Feb. 14 or Feb. 28.

I'm sure the rooms that you are considering are terrific! But take a shot and see if any of the connection secret porthole rooms are available for your date. I have pics of the connecting rooms that we had this past April on my website [linked below] - these rooms are terrific! A large porthole with a slightly obstructed view for the price of an inside cat#10 room. The location is great too!

I checked and they are gone. Actually there isn't much left. Cat 8 is sold out so I'm feeling lucky to get two rooms next to each other. I had hoped to get connecting ones but it's ok. We can't really go another week because of school. I shocked at how booked the ship is already!
