Making Reservation at 11 month window

I want to make a reservation for the BW standard view 2 bedroom for December 10-14th 2006. BW is my home resort. I would also like a ressie for Beach Club for December 3-7 2006 also a 2 bedroom.

I understand this is a very popular time so I would like some advice as to how I should try to book my rooms.

I thought I would at the 11month window book BW for all the dates and then at the 7 month window try to switch 5 of the days over to Beach Club or elsewhere.

When do I start calling for the 11 month window? Do I call each day and try to get it day by day or do I wait until the January 9th and call for the first 5 days and then call again on January 17th for the other 5 days.

For that time of year I would call day by day starting at the 11 month window..just tell MS what you are trying to accomplish the first day you call and they will basically just leave the reservation open as you call in the remaing days until your done...since there is a gap in between your stays they will have to be seperate reservations so you'll have to start the process again for the second stay. And yes, I would book all at BWV to make sure you get something, then try and switch the first week to BCV at the 7 month window, again using day-by-day.

I don't think it is necessary to call day by day. I would call on the 9th and 17th. You should be fine!

Thanks for your advice. I was planning on doing it the way Childsplay suggested but wasn't really sure it was necasary since I've never booked a ressie yet!

I can't believe I am already excited about a trip that is 17 months away!

Absolutely call day by day for a standard view in early December. If you don't you will almost surely spend time on teh waitlist for some or all of the days you want.
