Making potato salad can be hazardous

Hope you feel better, Kathy. My mom did something similar when I was a young girl and I remember how badly she was burned.

I had an accident making the potato salad today. I went to drain the potatoes and the water spilled on the edge of the counter and burned my stomach. I did a pretty good job of burning myself.

Cooking can be hazardous. I think next time I will let my daughter drain the potatoes. I thought careful was my middle name.

I hope everything is alright and you were not burned too badly.

I think this may call for a hiatus from cooking for a while.

Take it easy, and use a good burn cream on it.

I see DH has told you that you can have a hiatus from cooking.
You can bet I wouldn't get told that though.
