Making online ressies ?

I'm about to book our family's first trip to WDW

I was going to use AAA, but I've decided that I know more than the AAA agent because I've been reading DIS boards for a couple years!

Can you only make payments on your trip through the website if you book on the website? If I call CRO does that mean that I can't view and make payments online?

Also, can I get the AAA rate online or do I need to call to do that?

Any tips would be great since I've never done this before and I don't want to make any mistakes and look like a (although he is one of my favorite Disney characters!)

Are you going to book a room only ressie or a package? If you are booking a package with AAA discount, you must book through AAA agent.

I currently have two room only reservations. One was made online and one was made by phone. So far, I have not been able to find a way to make a payment online.

I was planning on booking a package, but I didn't realize that I could only do that through AAA.

Am I wrong in assuming that the package is cheaper than booking room only and buying the passes?

Wait (I'm thinking as I type ), I want the dining plan so I have to book a package, right?

Oh so much to learn! Hopefully this will be the first trip of many so I'll get all this straight eventually!

We always call in to CRO and make our reservation over the phone, after I play with the prices online, then we make our payments online. Does that help at all?
We are seriously switching to Dreams Unlimited this time.

Yes! I think so. So I can call in and make my reservation over the phone and still view and pay it online. I just want to be able to look at it and make payments when I have the money available and I think that would be easier to do online.
