Making online ADRs are still a problem

Hi everyone, for those keeping track at home, the Disney Dining Web site still doesn't accept DVC reservation numbers when you attempt to make your 180+10 ADRs. :headache:

I tried online at 6 a.m. and failed. So I called Disney Dining at 7 and got all the restaurants I was looking for (at the times I wanted).

I really wish Disney would figure this problem out once and for all.
 
Is this a recent issue? I used the online system at this time last year and made my 180 day ADRs with no problem.
 
I tried last month at the 180 day mark and had no luck. I had to call in as well.
 
I had to use Member Services today to book our dining reservations for October. Make sure you go into the reservation system after you are through to look at all of your reservations. Member services booked the wrong day for our last breakfast, so I had to call back and get them to change it. Whole process took a really long time. Wish they would get this figured out!

The DVC reservations seem to have started being a problem when the system was tweaked last October for the new credit card guarantees.
 
I could not make my ADR's for 180 +10 last February using my DVC reservation :rolleyes1
 
I was really hoping this would be fixed by now since I make our ADRs on next Monday, but I knew it wouldn't be. I still have to wake up at 6am for online booking though because we want CRT for dinner on our first night so I figure I should book it as soon as I can rather than wait the extra hour. My luck if I wait I'll miss out on the one reservation left or something.
 
I had to call yesterday, as well. I was told by MS that they have been having problems due to the upgrade. No idea if that is true. Regardless, this MS had no indication when or if it will be resolved, so I'd plan on calling.
 
Same here. Our 180+10 day arrived, I logged on...no luck. I was at work, so a friend called and took care of all of it for me!

I know I am a nerd, but I get all excited about our "ADR day":laughing:
 
I couldn't book + 10 yesterday either!!!
I got up at 5 AM EDT to shower and get ready for work so I could be online at 6 AM. I was only able to book the first night.
So I hightailed it to the car for the 45 minute drive to work. I was able to call at about 7:05, but I couldn't get our preferred time for either 'OHana or Via Napoli. The times I did get were only a little bit away, so basically I am happy.
But knowing I had a hard to secure reservation and everyone had a 1 hour and 10 minute head start frustrated me.
 
This is crazy. I got caught up in this in late October when it began and now its SIX MONTHS later and it's still not fixed. It bugs me that non-DVC reservations get that 1 hour jump on us booking their ADRs and we have to wait until 7:00AM and have to deal with the WDW Dine phone lines. I was hoping that it would be fixed by now. I have to call (notice call) next Monday as my 180 window opens for my mid-October trip.
 
Thanks for the update. Our 180 is on Sat...now I can't stay up late and have to get up early on Sat...grrr! We had the same problem in Dec when making ressies for June!! You'd think they'd have it right by now!
 
This is disgraceful that we spend all this money upfront but yet more transient vacationers have an hour advantage over us is absolutely unjust. Get it together Disney!
 
I could still book the first day of our ADRs on the online system, but not the others. I was able to get all the ones I wanted, even character dining.
 
Has anyone that called in have any issues with 'Ohana for dinner? I have it early in our trip and I have a feeling its going to need to be bumped to the end because so many people seem to be having issues with dinner reservations. We'll have an almost 1 year so dinner has to be early for us which I know is going to cause issues.
 
I tried last month and it didn't work, I had to call and fortunately got a nice CM who got all the reservations I wanted, but it seems like just one of those things that shouldn't cause these kinds of problems.

I hope everyone is as fortunate as I was and are able to get what they want over the phone.
 
I just tried to book 180+10 and the system didn't recognize my BLT confirmation number. I'll have to call dining and be on hold for Heaven only knows how long. I agree with PP. Disney, get it together!
 
Can anyone explain why there is a one hour difference/delay between the ADR reservations? I had never heard of this and don't understand what the benefit would be to have the system like this.

A couple of weeks ago I had to call for my ADRs and then I had to wait over an hour on hold:mad:

But once I got through, I had no problem getting a 5:15pm dinner for 7 people at Ohanas on our 2nd day.:thumbsup2
