My DD1 (4 going on 37) thinks she is Belle! princess: She's a real DP fan so I'm trying to make sure we do as much princessy stuff as possible. Is the Auberge de Cendrillon going to do the trick? Anything else we can do apart from the castle? ( pirate: obsessed DS much easier to please).

Hi Bigmamaward :wave2:
According to the official site from 4th Feb until 12th March there's a meet & greet with the Princesses between 10.00am and 1.00pm at Central Plaza.
Perhaps, somebody else knows if this is a regular thing - I've 2 boys myself so it's not something I've looked into before.

This meet and greet was excellent - Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella all appear. Plan to be there early as it gets a bit of a scrum :confused3

I've been looking for posts about a Princess day, but search is not currently working. :coffee:

Hi

We were at the park last week (not got around to a trip report yet). We were outside the castle at 10:05am on Tuesday (5 mins after the opening, we were at the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast) and there was already a fairly big queue.

Belle and Cinderella were at the head of the queue but by the time we got to the front (about 40mins) it had changed to Snow White and Sleeping Beauty (& prince charming). My daughter was a wee bit upset as Belle is her favourite. She was okay by the time she got to see them though. They take 30 minute shifts in front of the castle.

libby is a huge fan of all the princess, at the present time sleeping beauty is her fav, but snow white has been for the past year, (don't know what snow white has done to her), she doesn't care for ariel, i am hoping and praying that we get to see the princess and have her photo taken, jake on the other hand is into the cowboy/pirates and i know he will be easily pleased. but i know i will be dragging libby away from that castle kicking and screaming.

princess: When we were at Disney California in 2000 (DD was aged 4) they had Princess story times a couple of times a day, whereby a Disney Princess read a Disney story to the children in the bookstore & signed autographs afterwards) - we went 3 days in a row & met 3 different Princesses. DD loved it - it was one of the highlights of her trip. Do they have this at DLP? Great if they did, especially in the winter months when it's cold outside. princess:

In L'AUberge de Cendrillon, you get your meal served on tableware that is decorated with the birds and mice from Cinderella + the restaurant has the most beautiful mural paintings you can imagine! "In" the restaurant is also the Cinderella coach... don't know though if you can have your picture taken in it...

When you come from Main Street and go through the castle, immediately on your left hand side (when leaving the castle) is a "Snow White shop", that sells princess dresses and so, and it has a "shop in the shop" that looks like the Dwarfs' cottage, you have to check it out, because it's MARVELOUS!!!! (sp?)

Of course, during the parade, all the princesses appear too!

Here is the lovely crockery that Sandra mentioned

and here are my DDs by the Cinderella coach outside the restaurant. You can't sit in it but you can pose for a photo in front of it.
