Making MDE for someone else?

We are taking BIL SIL and two preteens to WDW in Oct. They have been before but not since MDE and Magic bands. I have tried to explain the changes but they have a lot on their plates right now and think they can "wing it". If I add them to my MDE as family but use their ressie number can I make FP+ for them?

I'm organizing an extended family trip for November. My solution was:
1) I entered all the names of our party on my MDE website account
2) I paid for all the park tickets myself, via the MDE web page.

That allowed me to link the park tickets to everyone and customize their MB's and book FP+ for them. I just asked them to cut me a check for their portion of the park tickets.

There is also an option on the MDE website to "Invite to Plan and Share". I believe that means you can give access to anyone in your party to book FP+ themselves if you want.
