Hi everyone
Not a lot of trip planning news.
Still trying to figure out Fly or Drive
Flying about $250-300 per person
Driving renting a car $350-400 plus gas (this would change trip date a little)

I've been spending a lot of time today on the Dis, I need to feel the magic.
This is a hard week for me my mother passed away 4 years ago on 3/12/05 I miss her sooooo much. She was a loving mommy and wonderful grandmother, She lived to be 92 years old. She still live in my heart and my memmories. and people often say I remind them of her in my actions and looks,which means alot to me
It because of her that I was able to realize my dream of taking my family to WDW, when she passed I received a small inheirtance, and althought there where other places the money proburaly should have been use for I decided ( with hubby o.k.) That I would take everyone to WDW. and I know she would be happy that I use it in that way.
So you see beside giving me life, raising me to be a good person who has faith in God,teaching me right from wrong and be a advid reader, she gave me my life long dream of a trip to the happiest place on earth with my family.

Here's some for you Grace. Sorry that you are feeling the loss of your mom this week.
As far as Disney goes, I just saw your post about flying or driving. I can't believe that your airfare is so much! It looks like the driving is financially better, but it just depends on whether or not you want to spend the money to fly.
I found Southwest tickets out of Detroit for $59 each way. I would just have to cut a day off. I don't know. I didn't have the money to buy the tickets when I found them. So, I'll just keep looking and maybe one day I'll have the money at the same time the tickets are cheap.

I have not been on the computer for a few days as my computer is not WORKING Its wont connect My husband has taken it to a shop to be fixed. I hope that it can be!!!
So this evening I'm watching Landen so i'm on Corri's computer
I had not been able to get a Airfare out of Southwest yet They are only have dates to Aug 14th.

We had nice weather here too. DH put spring fertilizer on today and went golfing. It was sunny, but still cool. I SO can't wait for spring. But that means that summer is right around the corner and I need to get a move on losing weight.

Good evening friends! I hope everyone had a magicial day!
I hope everyone will help me by crossing their Fingers and Toes and do the "free dining dance" that On March 30th i will be able to add it my reservation>
Here's the cost so far:
2167.38 for 2 adults, dining plan and 10 day park hoppers. We book 3 rooms (no discounts)

plans change add Corri and Landen to our room
$2935.98 3 adults, 1 child under 3, dining plan and 10 day park hoppers
(no discounts)

40% pin $2442.51

Free dining would save me about 1200.00
, Still looking to see if Southwest has some really GREAT deals, There prices for Sept don't come out until April 14th. Has everyone ever herard that it a good idea to check airfares at odd time like late at night and you some time can get good deals?

Need some help here . since we would probrarly only need 7 days of park tickets should I change, from 10days to seven to save some, money what would you do?

We have found a rental car for about $300. For Sept 10 thur Sept 20th
If we drive we would lose one nite and leave on Sept 19.

We also still have reservation for a room for Kylie and Josh and will chance it to free dining too, they still are not sure if they will be able to go.

Grace I spoke again to my TA she is coming in EARLY on Monday to do her utmost to get me FD!!! If I get it I do loose my AAA discount but I will still be way ahead cuz for 6 of us DDP is about 1700 and I figure te discount is 15%which by my reconing is about 750 so I am lmost 1,000 ahead !! I'll take it Lie you I am waitng fo the fares fromSWA !! They are only mid August now !! This reminds me I need to check again or May ! I also have DING ad have no messages yet!!

Disney news
Yesterday my daughter had a long talk about our trip to WDW, we had to drive to PA for a memrial service.
She is going to see if see can get Thursday Sept 10th off, so we can start our vactaion eariler,
Her idea is that we could leave after woork on Wed about 6/7 p.m. and drive all night, arriving at WDW earlier after noon, It's about 17 hr drive from our house.
So It would mean I could see Mickeyone day sooner
She also thought she would like to try Mickey's Back Yard BBQ and some of the resturants at the Winderness Lodge.
Anyone ever do any of these?

Here's some hope for you!! And some of my magic dancing I told my sister about free dining for Disney Visa card holders and she saved $800! She was SO grateful to me and of course I felt validated that my DISing obsession paid off. Good luck tomorrow and I can't wait to hear how things turn out for you!

I wish I had a visa card butI got turned down ! My credit is good now but my divorce forced me into bankruptcy and I guess that's why as I have other credit cards and have for a few years ! My TA will be calling me tomorrow and hopefully with goodnews !!

Mt TA is geting in shortly and calling too but I think they have a different number as when I talked to Disney they said thy couldn't acces my trip as it was thru AAA and they have to call ! So I am guessing it is a different number as TAs can'tbe waiting hour on the phone !!

Good luck Grace!!! I hope the wait wasn't too bad. I remember last year - I waited over an hour! It was worth it though to save the money and I wasn't working then so I really had nowhere else to be! I'm going to try one night after work this week or this weekend (if I can find the time) to try and make some ressies for us. I need a Disney fix right now!

I got my FREE DINING

I call a liitle after 7:00 (Landen had got up just a little before 7)
I was on hold for about 20 minutes, it took about 25 minutes to made the changes. They had a bit of trouble finding Kylie and Josh resavation, we had made some changeswhen we moved Corri to our room and added the 40% pin, and reservation # where mixed up. All all straight now
We also add a day the beginning of our trip we will be checking in on Thursday Sept 10th
So our trip is now Sept 10th thur Sept 20th
10 nites 11days 10 day park hoppers and FREE DINING
We can made ADR's on June 12th
Cost is $ 1960.23 For 3 adults and 1 child (under #0
and $ 1540.22 for 2 adults
I figured I saved about $2000.00 ( based on $40 a nite for 10 nites times 5 adults)

And we are still at Pop's
