Making Liquid Fabric Softener Last Longer

We just use white vinegar in the washer and dryer balls (5 plus years) in the dryer.

Here's how I save money: I have never in my adult life bought or used liquid fabric softener. My clothes are just fine.

I was thinking of doing the same with the vinegar after I've used all of my current fabric softener. A few friends of mine use vinegar and they love it. One uses something to scent hers, but I can't remember what she uses.

You can add a few drops of essential oil. I think lavender or lemongrass smell really good. I just take a quart bottle filled with white vinegar and the add 15 drops of essential oil. I use it just like fabric softener in the washers dispenser and it works great.

I get it at Whole Foods and I have found it on ebay also.
