Making Future DVC Reser. while @ WDW

Crazy question--we will be in WDW in November the exact time my 7 month window opens--is there somewhere there I can see someone face to face and make my reservations, or will I have to get on the phone I would just rather walk down to the DVC area (models etc.) since we are staying at SSR than sit on hold on a Monday!

I think that MS is actually located in Celebration, FL?

I'm pretty sure that there is actually a button for DVC membership services on the room telephone, just like for housekeeping. Maybe it will be quickier to get through to MS from that phone than through the 800 number.

and she connected us...MS must have known it was an "internal" call...she asked us - before I gave any info - if we were enjoying our trip...

DH pointed out a bldg that had the same address that we sent our closing papers too...not too far from Team Disney...

Just call the hotel operator and ask to be transferred to MS - it's quick and that way, no charge for a local call!

MS Call center is not located oi WDW - space there probably too valuable, LOL!

As already suggested, just dial "O" and ask to be connected to Member Services. MS is physically located in Celebration and they can tell from the caller id exactly where you are staying onsite (each resort has a coded identification and room number where the call originates). It is a free call - just like making a PS or to call any other onsite Disney department.

I had planned to dial "O" but ended up using a cell phone on our trip last Christmas for our trip for next Thanksgiving. We had to be at the parks by 9:00 A.M. (when MS opens), so we had to improvise. Be prepared.

Thanks so much--I guess I get so worked up about making my reservations I forget the simple stuff (like dialing "0")! Cell Phone may end up being best bet because I bet we will be out and about by 9am! This Board is the best--now if I can just remember to make the reservation--hopefully I don't get carried away by too much Pixie Dust! Can't Wait!!

I have fond memories of calling guest services from the house phone in the entry of Olivia's at OKW on the morning we were leaving for home, to book our next trip. Sure makes going home easier
