Making FPs for another reservation

So, this October we are traveling with another family. They arrive 2 days after us...So when going to make fast passes today I could only make fast passes for my family. I was under the impression that since we had a room reservation two days before we could go ahead and make FP's for everyone as long as each person had a valid park ticket tied to their name. Could the problem possibly be that this package was through a travel agency? They appear on the account as convention tickets. Any advice or tips? I'm hoping if nothing else we can copy our fast passes to them here in a couple of days.
