Making FP+ for other people - how?

hi - the last time my parents came on a trip with me and DH was pre-FP+. How can I make it so that I can schedule the FP+ for all of us? Do I need to do something in My Disney Experience, or does my mom?

I went to the Disney site linked and followed the instructions to add them as my friends via their room reservation number but it keeps saying they cannot be added at this time. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if the site is just having issues.

I just did this yesterday. I had trouble getting the other party linked, I kept getting an error I had to call Disney and they fixed it in no time. I then made FP+ for all of us last night.

Have you tried linking just by their email rather than reservation number? I just linked 10 people to my account yesterday doing that.

When you enter their email, they will be sent and invite to (set up an account if they don't have one and) link with you

I think when you do it that way, both parties can make changes to each other's plans. (I could be wrong) I'm trying to do the option where I can make FP+ for her but not vice versa - I know that sounds awful haha. But that's fine by her. My parents are just less tech savvy and I don't want them to accidentally click around and change things. And I have another trip they aren't going on too so it could get confusing for them.

Hmm, I just noticed it will let me add my dad but not my mom. Is that because my mom has a MDE account? (Can't call until my lunch break so still messing around with it)
