Making fast passes

I have an annual pass that expires nov 21. To my understanding we have up until 30 days after to renew or purchase another via dvc. We are heading to WDW Jan. Our fp window opens nov 21 for the first 6 days and then the following week for the remaining trip. Do I need to have my renewal pass to make fast passes or is our resort reservation good enough?

You need a valid AP linked to your account to book FPs.

With your situation, your FP window will not open for your January trip until you have renewed or linked a new AP voucher.

Thank you for the reply ok so if i downgraded from the plat plus to a regular gold pass but not activate it until our trip would that work?
