I am going in March 2021. I have a 2 day PH+ Ticket and we made our one day reservation at MK and the other AK. Can I only make dining reservations if I have a park ticket? How will that work since PH are back. Say, I do MK in the morn but plan on HS later. Can I make a reservation for HS? What about if I want to make a reservation because I may later add a day to a ticket. Does anyone know the answer to this? Also, have they said if we will have to make a reservation for the water park that is to open in March?

Dining reservations are 60 days out currently
dining adrs are not tied to room or park reservations

for park questions please ask this on the theme park boards.

I don’t think anyone knows the details about what will happen if someone has an ADR in a park they plan to hop to. Hopefully that will be clarified soon. In the meantime, when your window opens you can make ADRs wherever you wish - the system won’t prevent you from booking in a park you don’t have a park pass reservation for.

Just to confirm- I don't get an "advantage" of staying on property and booking my ADR 60 days + out. I have to do each day 60 days out, correct?

If you are staying on property, at 60 days from checkin you can make ADRs for that day and for the remainder of your stay, up to a total of 10 days. If no Disney resort reservations, you can make ADRs day by day, 60 days from each day.

That is what I thought. However it would not let me today for some reason. Only 60 days from today.

Hmm, strange, which of course is not unusual for MDE! Is your resort reservation linked to you in MDE? Maybe try logging out and then back in, clear cookies, try a different browser, etc.

Double check it is exactly 60 days from your resort stay. It is not 2 months, just 60 days, so if you are at 61 days you'll only be able to reserve one day at a time. Once you hit 60 days from check in you should be able to book past 60 days.

Also double check you are logged in--that's happened to me before where I was signed out and couldn't reserve for my resort stay.

As others have noted, you can book in-park restaurants at any park even if you do not have a park reservation. That said, if your plan is to hop, having a dining reservation at a second park does not guarantee you'll be able to hop to it if it is at capacity. Parks have not been hitting capacity yet for park hopping purposes, but as 60 days out is Easter week, that could change when you are there.
