This is how it goes:
English, Reservations, No, No, Yes, Yes, No, Then I'm on hold for some time.
I don't mind so much that they do not have a 1-800 number. I don't even mind that I have to wait on hold after answering all of those questions - hey, there's a lot of people making plans especially with the discounts being offered.
But the questions!!! I'm calling from Canada! And I have to wade through the questions every time I call to make a dining reservation, or check to see if something has come available! Why do they want to know if I've visited 5 or more times since 2003 when I'm calling about dining? And I have to pay for the time that it takes for them to ask that question! (although I have figured out that you don't have to wait until the end of the question to give the answer)
This was my only rant -- Once you get a real person, they're usually very friendly. But that doesn't make up for the extra money I'm spending. Disney can't be making extra money from doing it this way (they don't own the telephone company too, do they?) so what is the point?
