Am I hallucinating? Or did I not read somewhere that there is a little spot at Epcot where you can actually bake cookies?

You know, I read that somewhere too!!!! I will be curious to see if anyone else has experienced this.

DD did this a couple years ago. It was held in the Land Pavilion at Epcot. She got to wear a little paper chef hat and other kids helped "make" the cookies, she was able to bring a couple with her. It's the Nestle cookie.

It's free. It's in the Land building, downstairs, next to the Sunshine Season's food cout. Right next to Living with the Land ride.

My 3 yo ds did this in Sept and loved it (I think he was the youngest one in his session). He got a paper chef's hat and got to help make cookies with the rest of the kids.

It's called the "Nestle Jr. Chef" program and the spots are limited. It's kind of first come first serve kind of thing, so if you want to do it get there early. We arrived about 30 minutes early and were the first people there. Everyone started showing up shortly after we did though. Definitely worth the wait.

Five of my kids did this...ages12,10,8,7,4. They all enjoyed it and each got a cookie at the end.
This was our 6th trip and we had never seen or heard of it before.

We "made" cookies at AKL. We were there visiting and the staff asked them if they wanted to decorate cookies. It was really fun. They had a huge table to themselves and all of the decorations they could handle, and they decorated giraffes and something else..a lion maybe? It was a lot of fun, and a good way to kill an hour.

We also have done this a couple of times. Just a hint: Check the times that it is available and sign up early. It is alot of fun.

My kids love doing this. It is a must on every trip......

My girls loved this! There is a "baking" every hour I believe, they post the time. The staff only allow 10-12 kids per time, so we had to wait for a turn, but it was worth it. They bake Nestle chocolate chip cookies and wear fun chef hats! It was a little hidden. When you are facing Sunshine Seasons, it is on the far left hand side.

My kids LOVED this!!! We happened upon it accidentally while eating at The Land food court. It was fun to watch and the women running it were FANTASTIC with the kids. It was hilarious to watch the kids put together the cookie dough. We didn't have to wait (early Feb, low crowds) but would definitely be willing to wait ~30 minutes next trip!

It's fun, all of my kids except my youngest have done it. You can also decorate your own cupcake for dessert at the Harvest Grill in the Land :) We did that in the evening after touring Epcot, they enjoyed both.
