I originally booked my AAA package with 10 day MYW premium (parkhop and 5 pluses) and no expire as we are going to use 4 days this year and 6 the next. The more I thought about it, it seems silly to pay now for all those options when we can just add them on later (if we need to.) We definately know that we won't be using the pluses this year (and probably not next year either) so those are definately gone. Our schedule for this year doesn't have any park hopping. I figure I can add that on at any time this year or next year as well if we really want it. So I called my agent and changed the tix to 10 basic tickets. Did I do the right thing? It will only cost me the $100 (+tax) to add the no expire option once we get there - right? Park hopping means an additional $35 (+tax) per ticket - right.

Thanks for resolving or feeding my neurotic tendencies :teeth

You should have left the non-expiration in place since you said you are definitely splitting the ticket more or less half and half between two vacations. The upgrade prices you mentioned are correct, whether or not you got the ticket with an advance purchase discount.

The way it was told to me is that you can add options to the pass but it must be: (1) before use or within 14 days of first usage, (2) before the admissions already on the pass are exhausted.

After 14 days you have to use the prorated dollar value trade up method which is usually less favorable cost wise.

Thanks!

We know that we will be adding the no expire option but we will just add it when we get there. That is $400 less that I have to pay now. I just wanted to make sure that it was the same cost to add it now or then.
