Making ADRs soon...a few questions

I make our ADRs on January 14th. So, I have a few questions:

1. We are staying 10 nights, from July 13th through July 23rd at Boardwalk Villas. Can I make all the ADRs for the whole trip even though technically our character breakfast at Cape May will be the morning we leave and so it will technically be the 11th day?

2. We have 14 ADRs to make altogether. I recall reading that I can make up to 10 in one shot online. I have a few hard-to-get ones (CRT dinner, Chef Mickey's dinner, Akershus lunch). Should I make these 3 first plus one more (it would be the 1900 Park Fare breakfast) and enter them, then go back and make the others?

3. How early in the morning (Eastern Time) can I make my ADRs?

4. If I begin at 5:30 AM (if I can start that early, that is), do you think I can finish 14 ADRs within an hour and be finished by 6:30?

5. Is there a way to check the system in advance to make sure my reservation is in their system so I don't run into any trouble when I go to make my actual ADRs?

6. I have my info registered (email and password) on disneyworld.com. Is this what I log into in order to make my ADRs?

Sorry if some of these questions seem stupid. This is my first experience with the online ADR system. I want to make sure I get it right! Thanks in advance!

I will try to help.

1. You can book for the day you arrive and up to 10 days. My guess is you can't do the 11th one until later.

2. I don't know about the 10 in one shot, but yes, you want to book the hardest ones first. The on-line system holds your spot for 2 hours as long as you are active on the sight. If you are worried, go ahead and check out the first few. You can always go back in and make more reservations. Because this was my first time, I made one ressie, checked out just to make sure that I understood the process.

3. 6:00am EST

4. 14 ressies by 6:30 should be able to be done. Once you get the hang of it, you can go pretty fast.

5. If you go to MY Disney Vacation there is a place to put in your reservation number to check that it is there. You can also make itineraries and the free maps.

6. Yes, you log into the sight, go to dining reservations, retrieve your reservation so that all the ADRs are attached to your trip reservations.

Your questions aren't stupid at all. I did go and practice a little to get the idea. Obviously you can't book anything until 180 days out, but you can at least figure out how to navigate the sight.

Keep those questions coming. We all love to help.:cool1:

Thanks so much, this helps a lot! After reading your post, I logged into the site and put in my reservation number. It came up right away, BWV July 13-23, 2010.

I'm glad they hold the ADR for up to 2 hours after holding it, as long as you are active. I went in to practice and saw it even holds it for 20 minutes if you are not active. Knowing this is the case, I will just make the first 10 ADRs and check out, then do the other 4.

Thanks again! :)
