making ADR's Question

Tomorrow is my day! I have my 5 meals that I want to book (I am not overscheduling this trip at DH request). One of them is a MUST get it, and of course it is CRT, I want to do it on my DD5 6th birthday after she gets her hair done at BBB in the castle. Am I better off calling at 7am, or trying at 6am on the online ADR's? I have to call for BBB anyway right?

I am SO nervous that I won't get the ADR's I want. I am hoping it won't be so bad since for the most part free dining is over.

Any advice or tips? Oh and is it 6am and 7am Eastern time? I am in NY.

It is Eastern time. I'd recommend doing both the online at 6am and then calling for whatever you weren't able to get on the computer at 7am. I used this strategy and it worked great for us! The website is easy to navigate. Good luck! It's nerve-wracking but I hope it all works out for you.

I used the online, it was a snap. I logged on at 5:50 and kept hitting refresh. got right in, but do CRT first. good luck!

Should I do anything to make it quicker and faster, like save teh 5 restaurants as favorites? If I do that do I just pull up my favorites to book or is there a favorites in the ADR screens?

Save the 5 as favorites... Have CRT pulled up before 6:00, enter your reservation# and phone number and have it ready to go.

Thank you! If I hope to get BBB at around 8ish, what time should I aim for for CRT. 10:30ish? I want to give myself some time incase I don't get the first BBB appointments....

I opened all of my restaurants in order of desired booking in different tabs before 6am so that I could book a restaurant, close that tab and move on without having to open bookmarks. I was done in less than 15 minutes.

Wow! Thanks for that tip! I generally use multiple tabs (have 6 open right now!) but would have never thought to open them up like that. Guess I better be up at 5:30 am that day, right?

I had 3 tabs open when I was on at 5:30am est last week. I had each one set with the ressie attached my account. (I did need to do this in each tab, but once tab #1 was signed in, the others were automatically signed in also)

I actually went for CM first, since I figure that would be DD's first choice, if I could ask her. (surprise trips are hard to plan) I didn't get the time I wanted for CM, but it offered CRT, so I took it. Put it in my cart, then moved to next tab. I left my tabs open until I could confirm the others had made it into my cart.

I spent an hour adding and deleting places til I got to 10 (the max your cart will hold). I checked out, only to realize that the Hollywood and Vine I thought was a package wasn't. Thankfully, I called at 7:05am and got that also.

Good Luck! I was up early due to the excitement and fear of not getting anything. It was actually pretty easy.

Ok, DEFINITELY go online at 6am to book CRT. You will have more choice and won't have to wait on hold to book it. I was able to go online at 6am and got my exact choice for CRT. I did all 8 of my reservations in 15 minutes. Was done, took a break. Then called the WDW-Style number (different than dining #) for BBB exactly at 7am, no wait, booked the exact time I wanted with no wait at all.
